1. Introduction
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how CaseLine collects, uses, and protects your data. By using our app, you agree to this policy.
2. Data We Collect
- Crash reports: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous crash data to improve app stability.
- Case data: Case information is loaded from Firebase servers. This data is provided by us and does not include personal user data.
- Push notifications: Firebase Cloud Messaging subscribes your device anonymously to topics in order to deliver relevant updates. Only the country code of your device may be stored, and it is not linked to your identity.
- Analytics: We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used. This service collects anonymized usage data such as app interactions and feature usage. The information is processed by Google and stored on servers, with EU servers selected where available. The data is not used to personally identify you.
- Subscriptions: We use RevenueCat to process in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat handles purchase validation with Apple's App Store but does not store your personal payment data.
- Authentication: We use Firebase Authentication to assign your device an anonymous identifier for push notification management. This ensures that notifications can be delivered in the correct language or topic. We do not collect names, email addresses, or passwords, and no personal identity is linked to this identifier.
- Notification preferences:We store your notification settings (which types of updates you want to receive, daily limits, and language preferences) using your device's anonymous identifier. This data is stored in Firebase Firestore and is used to deliver personalized notifications about new cases and updates.
- Device identifiers:We use your device's vendor identifier (IDFV) to anonymously store your notification preferences and language settings. This identifier cannot be used to identify you personally but allows us to sync your settings across app sessions.

- To ensure the stability and security of the app

- To authenticate your device anonymously in order to deliver push notifications in the correct language
- To deliver personalized push notifications based on your preferences
4. Data Storage
We have selected EU-based servers for Firebase where available. Data processed by Google Analytics for Firebase and RevenueCat may be transmitted to servers outside the EU in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

The following third-party services are integrated into CaseLine:
- Firebase (Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, Realtime Database, Analytics)
- Google Analytics for Firebase
- RevenueCat (subscription management)
- Firebase Authentication (anonymous device login for push notifications)
6. Your Rights
